Clínica Esperanza

About

For those unfamiliar with our clinic, Clínica Esperanza is a primary care clinic that serves the uninsured, Hispanic/LatinX adult population of Memphis. Our primary goal is to provide access to quality healthcare and improve the health literacy and overall health of our great community. With the support of Christ Community Health Services and their clinical space on Broad Ave, Clínica has helped meet the medical needs of hundreds of patients. The clinic is run entirely by student and community volunteers within the City of Memphis. All medical encounters are performed by training healthcare professionals under the supervision of licensed physicians and pharmacists. All care and diagnostic testing provided by our clinic are provided at zero cost to our patients. We have partnerships with Christ Community and Regional One Health to provide subspecialty care that is outside the scope of our primary care practice.

Dress-code is either scrubs or business casual.

We hold weekly educational sessions in either Clinical Medicine or Medical Spanish; If you are interested in viewing the materials from our educational sessions, please click here.

If any volunteer position is full, but you are interested in volunteering then please join the waitlist and you'll be automatically registered and notified if someone cancels.
