Chickasaw Middle School Back-to-School Supply Drive Impact Statement
400 Remaining
Karen Hearts Foundation hosted a Back-to-School Supply Drive at Chickasaw Middle School on Friday, October 3rd from 12:30pm to 2:00pm to ensure students returned prepared, confident, and supported academically. We distributed 325 backpacks filled with essential learning materials, 350 school supply kits, 300 packs of chips, 300 snack packs, and 300 fruit snack packs to students and families in need. This support reduced financial barriers for parents and helped remove non-academic obstacles that impact student success, confidence, attendance, and readiness. The total estimated value provided was $6,200 which includes backpacks valued at $3,250, supply kits valued at $1,750, fruit snack packs valued at $300, and snack packs valued at $900. This drive created immediate relief for families while ensuring students had what they needed to start the school year with dignity, stability, and the proper tools to succeed.
